Events Strategy

East Gwillimbury (EG) is developing a municipal events strategy to enhance Town events and connect and engage with the community. Events bring many benefits to EG. They enhance community pride, support local businesses, foster a sense of belonging, and contribute positively to the high quality of life that everyone enjoys.

EG’s Events Strategy will identify ways we can grow and improve our events and partnerships, guide our future event planning, and help lead a more connected, inclusive, and sustainable community.

To ensure the Strategy is reflective of the thoughts and ideas of all community members, various opportunities to share feedback will be available. You can join the conversation by completing the online survey or visiting with the events team at our summer events.
