The Building Standards Branch issues annual reports. These reports summarize the building permit activity in the Town of East Gwillimbury for that year.

Health and Active Living Master Plan
This plan outlines how East Gwillimbury (EG) residents will enjoy parks, recreation, and culture over the next ten years.
The 2025 Housing Needs Assessment examines local housing needs in East Gwillimbury and how they may relate to infrastructure priorities. The data and analysis contained in the report is intended promote systematic planning of infrastructure that takes into consideration current and future housing needs.
The Bradford Bypass is a 16.3-kilometre freeway connecting Highway 400 and Highway 404. The Updated Draft Environmental Impact Assessment Report is available for public review and feedback until August 14.

EG has created a Parks Design Standards Manual (PDSM) to provide guidelines to design and maintain high-quality parklands and recreational facilities.
Council establishes a four-year plan at the beginning of each Council Term.
The Transportation Master Plan identifies the long-term transportation goals of the Town.
Water and Wastewater Master Plan
The Town of East Gwillimbury (EG) is undertaking a Town-wide Master Plan for Water and Wastewater Services. The Master Plan will identify long-term strategies for servicing current and future populations, in accordance with the Town's growth projections to the ultimate planning horizon of 2051.
