June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) is a movement that promotes the benefits of recreation and parks for physical, social, and environmental health. East Gwillimbury (EG) and communities across Ontario have embraced JRPM to promote local events, parks, and facilities for everyone to enjoy!
JRPM celebrates and promotes the importance of Ontario's unique parks and recreation services. Parks and recreation play an essential role in individual, community, and environmental well-being.
Join us for a four-week mini session for the month of June. A chance to try new programs and get a peek into what may be offered for future sessions! See the list of programs below.Preschool Programs (0 to 5yrs)

Aquatics
This month, our Aquatics team is featuring:
Mini Instructional Swim Lessons – Short, focused sessions designed to strengthen skills, improve technique, and boost confidence in the water.
Family Private Lessons – A personalized learning experience where families can work together toward their swimming goals with customized instruction.
Specialty Aquatics Drop-In Programs (Coming Soon!) – Engaging, themed, and skill-based drop-in opportunities designed to keep swimmers active and having fun.

Summer Camp Open House - June 6
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Health and Active Living Plaza
A fun-filled drop-in for parents and campers to connect with our camp staff, ask questions, and participate in camp-inspired games and activities. Get a sneak-peek of our summer camps and register for a memorable summer of fun and friendship. See you there!

Splash pads open annually on June 1st. Hours of Operation are from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
