EG Historical Society

Meetings

These are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month, except July and August, in the Temperance Hall at 7:30 p.m. The Temperance Hall is located next to the Civic Centre at 19000 Leslie St. All meetings are open to the public, at no charge.

Mandate

The East Gwillimbury Historical Society is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and is incorporated through affiliation with the Ontario Historical Society.

Mission Statement

The East Gwillimbury Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the heritage of East Gwillimbury.

Activities

We collect historical documents, photographs and maps pertaining to East Gwillimbury and district. Also the collection of small artifacts that can be stored by the society.

A family membership is $15.00 per family per year. A single membership is $10.00 per year. A corporate membership is $25.00 per year.
