Ward 1 Development Applications

Ward 1 includes Holland Landing, River Drive Park, Yonge and Green Lane, Harvest Hills and area.

Ward 2 Development Applications

Ward 2 includes Sharon, Queensville and area.

You can view the Town's ward map and search by address to determine what ward a property is located in.

The Planning Process in EG

Step 1: Builder submits Planning application.

Step 2: Planning reviews and circulates the application.

Step 3: Planning deems the application to be complete or incomplete (30 days).

Step 4: Planning informs Council of the complete application and then informs the public.

Step 5: Staff and partner agencies review the application and provide comments.

Step 6: Statutory Public Meeting. No Council decisions at this point.

Step 7: Applicant responds to comments and revises application. Planning re-circulates the application for further comment.

Step 8: Planning submits a recommendation report for Council decision (90 or 120 days).

Step 9: Planning issues a Notice of approval or refusal (15 days).

Step 10: If No OLT appeals: If no Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) appeal, staff updates Town mapping, Zoning By-law and Official Plan as required.

If OLT appeal received: If a decision is appealed to the OLT, OLT will initiate a hearing.

Application deemed complete means the required documents, drawings, and studies have been submitted and contain the required information to proceed. The application has not yet been approved or refused by Council.
