Family and friends committee

The Family and Friends Committee is an organized, self-led, self-determining and democratic group which provides assistance and advice to families/friends and residents in the Home and makes recommendations to the Home in the interests of residents and their families.

What does the family and friends committee do?

• Welcomes and supports families
• Serves in an advisory capacity
• Educates
• Advocates (locally & provincially)
