Child Care
Looking for child care in Thunder Bay? The City of Thunder Bay operates four child care centres that provide safe, stimulating, and nurturing environments.
Program statement
Our centres promote a balance of stimulation and relaxation that provides the basis for children's learning, development, health, and well-being. Children must be valued as individuals that are competent, capable, curious, and rich in potential. Our focus is on children first, and we aim to foster learning around belonging, engagement, expression, and well-being.
