Adventurers Camp is a fun and inclusive day camp full of activities from crafts to karate and of course swimming, for kids ages 5 to 12!

TOTS Camp *ALL 5 year olds (as of December 31, 2026) will register for this program. They will be with the same group and same instructor all day. The program will be 9am Crafts, 10am Imagination Station &11am Monkey Business. Any of these activities may be substituted for a swimming lesson.

Fees

2 week session: $322.69 first child, $274.76 additional children
1 week: $220.46 first child, $186.37 additional children

*all fees subject to council approval.

What you need to know

Please pack a peanut-free lunch, water bottle, bathing suit and towel each day. Bringing a hat and a water bottle every day is also a good idea as we do go outside!

Drop-Off is between 8:15- 9am and pick-up is between 4-5pm.

A Medical Form and Photo/ Video Release Form need to be filled out for each child attending Adventurers Camp and can be found in the Parent Information Handbook.

Junior Inclusion Services (JIS) offers opportunities for kids of all abilities to be successful at Adventurers Camp! For more information about JIS you can email jis@thunderbay.ca.

If you are sending your child with a Personal Support Worker please let the program know ahead of time by emailing adventurerscamp@thunderbay.ca

Adventurers Camp T-shirts are available for purchase for $10!

Kids will go swimming every day. If you don't want to swim there are also supervised dryland activities available during swim time!

HIGH FIVE

The City of Thunder Bay is a registered organization with HIGH FIVE. All staff that work for Adventurers Camp are trained in the Principles of Healthy Child Development for children in recreation and sport!

Adventurers Camp is supported by PRO Kids.
