Arenas and Outdoor Skating

Tbaytel, in partnership with the City of Thunder Bay and Fort William First Nation has installed cameras in five local hockey rinks and arenas to provide spectators a way to watch their favourite athletes remotely from anywhere. Cameras will be live in all Arenas and the Fort William Stadium from 7 a.m to 12 a.m daily.

The City maintains many outdoor skating rinks throughout the city. The rinks are weather dependent and are typically open from mid-December through mid-March. Ice conditions change with the weather and rinks may close without notice. For outdoor rink booking requests, email outdoorrinkbooking@thunderbay.ca
